I loved this book and I really recommend it to everyone.

Intimate & tender.
While reading Normal People I felt very close to Connell and Marianne. Sally Rooney´s ability to capture these moments and feelings is extraordinary and at times this novel moved me to tears.
Normal People is now one of my favourite books and in my opinion, it deserves the hype it receives.

One of my all time favorite books, who introduces one to the beautiful world of poetry, while covering themes such as parental and academic expectations and the pressure that comes with it, first loves and many more hardships one has while growing up to become an adult. I'll always love this book for showing me the beauty of poetry.

A thoughtful book that shows what makes life worth living. This book explores how the aspects of the everyday that we may consider the "little things" make existence what it is, not because they're delicious or fun or even meaningful, but because they connect us with the people and world around us.
While I was reading it, this book warmed my heart while simultaneously breaking it. This is such a poignantly and elegantly told story.

The Handmaid's Tale is a carefully crafted story inspired by real historical happenings which makes the novel even more horrifying.
A must-read!

A dystopian and tragic story about a humanity that can cure any disease. For this, they need clones. But as dark as this sounds, it isn't a book about revolution or one with a creepy plot. It's more like a mediation and nostalgic story about identity and acceptance.

A beautiful written book about a man, who has lived for centuries.
He is only getting older very slowly, not like all the other humans.
How can he save himself..? Is love the key to all of it?!
I really can recommend this book to anyone, who has read and loved "The Midnight Library" from the same author Matt Haig.

A sweet romance.
Not as predictable as you might expect, the idea of ?bed sharing? is a cute concept, which Beth O?Leary just runs with.
Completely addictive and leaves a soppy smile on your face!

The recipe here might sound well-known: Six characters on the fringe of society form an alliance to spring someone out of an impenetrable prison. But: Leigh Bardugo makes her characters come alive with a few well-written words - and then the structure, pacing and imagined world here takes over and delivers a wild ride! A journey through England, but at the same time a journey into the past of Mr Stevens, butler of Darlington Hall.
Kazuo Ishiguro is a master of in-depth character studies and the way in which this story is constructed and told is just impressive.

This book is about healing and second chances. The story was angsty, emotional, powerful! It started as like soft, laugh out loud, entertaining comedy but it turned into a intense, tear jerker, heartfelt read.
Perfect for a hot summer day! Maybe not the best feel-good-beach-read out there, but a realistic romance with all the ups and downs.

Obaro writes in simple yet beautiful language about three different women who meet while studying in Lagos, Nigeria and get caught up the treacherous maelstrom of growing up.
I would've liked to read more, yet after finishing the book, one feels wonderfully entertained and at the same time deeply touched.

Jennifer Saint gives the women from the Iliad what they deserve:
a voice to tell their stories.
"Elektra" is a compelling and emotional novel - even if you have not read any mythological retellings before.

A short fun read, which I especially recommend to folks who work in the service industry or in retail. It's also a good read for people, who sometimes feel a bit behind in life and whose live may differ from the societal norm.

A sapphic story so bizarre and hilarious I couldn't put it down! The characters are weird and everything but perfect, the story absurd, in some moments serious and still sweet in others.
All in all a wonderful read!

Rothfuss created a fascinating world with even more fascinating characters. This book had me at the edge of my seat so many times and I couldn't put it down.
However, now that I'm hooked on it, I join a fanbase yearning for the 3rd and final book in this series...
